The Part-Time Kids’ Party Host at Glello plays a key role in welcoming guests, guiding them through event activities and ensuring a smooth, enjoyable party experience.
About Glello
Glello creates fully customised and fully hosted creative party experiences for children. Every celebration is designed around what the child loves, with our team handling the activities, materials, setup, hosting and cleanup.
Your role in this is to be the host who brings the experience to life, running the party from start to end — welcoming the guests, guiding the children through the activities and ending the party. You will need to manage the energy in the room and help make the celebration feel exciting, personal and well organised.
What you will do
- Welcome guests and kids in warmly as they come in
- Host creative activities for children, typically aged 3 to 10
- Explain activities clearly and keep children engaged throughout the experience
- Bring energy, confidence and enthusiasm to each celebration
- Manage groups of energetic or distracted children positively
- Assist in cake cutting and party wrap-up
- Support event setup, preparation and cleanup
- Familiarise yourself with the activity plan and materials before each assignment
- Communicate clearly with the Glello team before and during events
- Represent Glello professionally when interacting with parents, children and venue staff
Who we are looking for
- Confident speaking in front of and engaging groups of children
- Energetic, expressive and comfortable taking charge of a room
- Responsible, punctual and dependable
- Patient and able to stay calm when children become distracted or upset
- Available for ad-hoc weekend or weekend-afternoon assignments
- Comfortable travelling to different event locations across Singapore
- Able to learn and follow Glello’s event and hosting processes
- Interested in working with Glello for a reasonable period rather than only one or two assignments
Helpful experience
Previous experience working with children is strongly preferred. This may include teaching, enrichment, childcare, camps, student care, performance, hosting or similar child-facing work.
Direct party-hosting experience is helpful but not required if the candidate demonstrates strong confidence, energy and communication skills.
